ANN DUMALIANG
Ann Adeline G. Dumaliang is the co-founder and managing trustee of Masungi Georeserve, a conservation area in Rizal that has become a model for environmental protection and sustainable ecotourism. Driven by a lifelong passion for nature, Ann established the Masungi Georeserve Foundation in 2015, combining geotourism, conservation, education, and community engagement to protect and restore threatened forests.
Under her leadership, Masungi has planted over 68,000 native trees, mobilized 100 park rangers, and supported 200+ households. Ann has secured partnerships with over 200 companies and numerous academic and NGO collaborators, all while advocating against illegal logging and quarrying. Her innovative approach and fearless advocacy have led to policy actions and landmark enforcement collaborations.
Globally recognized as a National Geographic Explorer, Ashoka Fellow, and Davos50 awardee, Ann continues to lead a youth-powered conservation movement—making her a fitting Ramon V. del Rosario Siklab Award 2024 recipient.
